The Fish
The fish mill is based on an old design which has been carefully re-crafted. The method of this working piece being that you turn the tail and the pepper falls finely from the mouth. Made of polished hardwood with either solid silver of silvered bronze head, tail and fins. The mill is filled by removing the back fin. The fish lies flat and is 23cm long. This mill has a ceramic grinder movement however it is only suitable for pepper.
The Fishing Reel
Based on a family love of fishing, Tim has designed the fishing reel mill with a hardwood body and a solid silver top, the ‘line’ is gilded to give definition to the finished piece. As the handle is turned, an internal ratchet makes the sound of an authentic fishing reel. The mill stands 12cm high, with a ceramic grinder movement making it suitable for use with salt or pepper.
